Norwegian Salmon fillets are subject to a grading system, which includes A-trim, B-trim, C-trim, D-trim and E-trim fillets. These initials signify the amount of trimming that the fillet has undergone. This system applies to skin-on and skin-off fillets. The A-fillets undergo the least amount of trimming and D and E-fillets are trimmed to the highest standards.
Europa imports the D-trim which is a skin-on fillet with no belly fat and pin bones out.. We also supply the E- trim fillets which is a deep-skinned side of Salmon that has been trimmed to have no belly-fat and pin-bones.
