Olives, one of the oldest foods known, are thought to have originated in Crete between five and seven thousand years ago.  Naturally grown varieties such as Sandhurst’s Kalamata Olives have very little human interference apart from the addition of salt and wine vinegar to the brine.

Kalamata olives make a zesty addition to salads, meat, poultry and of course, everyone’s favourite – pizza!
